Nearly seventy members and guests sat down to enjoy a very good evening at the East India Club on Friday February 17th. Club President Michael Blumberg was Master of Ceremonies, Paul Maloney said Grace, President Emeritus David Alexander gave the Memorial Toast(Caulfield, Alston, Crombie, Lamb, Kershaw) followed by two excellent speeches, the first from Don Topley and the second from John Barclay. Almost everyone made it who should. The dreaded   lurgy only struck down three and a delayed flight the other partially made up by two late additions to the party.
