Nomads have been touring since before WW1. The club's first overseas tour was to the Channel Isles in the late 1920s when Prince Duleepsinghji was in the party. The club returned in the 1950s but our first foreign tour was in 1957 to Denmark. Brussells and Paris followed in the 1960s and 1970s . It was in the 1990s that Nomads began many visits to Continental Europe and further afield to India (twice) and East Africa.
Currently the club mixes a number of regular return visits with some new destinations each season. In this section you will details of almost all Nomads visits abroad. In some cases the page is awaiting data. Should the reader have taken part in some of these trips and have some photos, please do send copies for inclusion on the website.
