Herts Seniors were unable to raise the momentum of their innings despite losing few wickets. Only the introduction of Macdonald-Barker, a familiar figure to Herts batsmen, helped the home side to a respectable total.

After an excellent tea fifties from Mike Blake and Richard MacKey saw Nomads home to a narrow victory with only 5 balls to spare.

A good social evening followed so much so that club manager commended his customers declaring that us senior cricketers spent a great deal more than any first elevens on Saturday. Hopefully the youngsters will grow into the habit.

Berkhamstead Cricket club was an excellent location and fine hosts.
