Nomads score too few

Our 'keeper opening batsman Keith Alexander broke down short of Oxford which did not help our cause especially as he had another player with him. Neither had mobiles and neither had a ODs contact number, Grrh. ODs kindly lent us some youngsters several of whom bowled well.

Nomads collapsed from a promising start to post an inadequate total of 146 of which veterans Lamb and Horne contributed 90. ODs galloped along help by our lack of a wicket keeper.Yet at 84-5 there was a faint hope of victory for Nomads. however skipper Daniel with first Florey and then Simon Rae saw the home side to an early victory and lengthy session at the bar. Extras were top score for ODs!
