Nomads hired the Hurlingham annually for matches from 1952 through the 1950s. In 1953 Nomads hired Hurlingham for seven days to celebrate the club's fiftieth anniversary. Nomads then played annually against the Hurlingham Club from 1966 to 1984. Two Nomads' members were founders of the Cricket Club at Hurlingham,Peter Mathews' father and Eric Warburg.
