Nathan Lamb unsupported

A curious batting order did not help Nomads' cause. Indeed our three debutants from Hurlingham made but 8 between them and only D G-B has ever played for Nomads again. A solid start from Abdul would have made the task easier.

However for a while when centurion Nathan Lamb and Australian veteran Brad Murphy were making a substantial 8th wicket stand victory still seemed possible. Sadly when in sight of our target with plenty of overs to spare three wickets fell and defeat had to be assuaged by a long session at the bar.
