The Spanish Visa People prevented Sajjad Nizam Shawl from touring with us.They mislaid his passport.!!!!!!!!!

The party included five new tourists. Members travelled from Greater London, Dusseldorf, Paris, Shropshire. This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour, and, as always, our thanks to Sporting Alfas and, in particular, to Geoff Evans and Kevin Laundon for making us feel so much at home and the 'new' ladies on steward duty in the clubhouse all four days. Despite the sadness in our hearts on learning of Charlton Lamb's untimely death this proved to be a very cohesive and companionable touring party who enjoyed several very good evenings and late nights in each other's company. Charlton would have wished it thus!

Irina entertained us royally at the Yellow Submarine and came to watch us on Monday when she was very impressed by 118's speed across the cricket ground.

Nomads dined well at restaurants 'Something Else', Paulinos. The Argentinian Steak House and Francos.
