Nomads never managed to raise the tempo of the innings in this overs match reaching 229-5, some 30 short of target. Matt Marshall struck a stylish 50 with several straight sixes before holeing out in the deep and Andy Stokes finished on 61*. Hoare, Ledger and Alexander chipped in with 20s.

Two early wickets gave hope to Nomads a sniff of victory but a spate of wild deliveries matched by some dropped catches allowed the tourists to smash their way to an early victory.

A splendid Indian cuisine dinner was enjoyed afterwards. The oppostion from Gujurat India had a cople of players not called Patel.!
