A sorry draw

match in which Nomads were outplayed despite having three Jaipur Colts on tour. Some tidy bowling from Karin and Ireland restricetd the top order for a while then despite taking three wickets Blumberg's bowling was massacrd fior ten an over. this enabled S & M to declare in the 39th over as Charlton Lamb equally expensive took two late wickets.

Although Chand hung around for a while the other top three had gone for 16. the middle order did little better and when Blumberg number ten joined Ireland the score was but 94-8. joe who had been batting well lost patience and was caught bringing number eleven Steve Marians to the crease,113-9. Now Marians and Blumberg were veterans but not life long tail enders and they put on undeafeted 45 runs to draw the match.
