Just one Yadav not enough
Eral Anderson failed to appear having apparently got the dates 'muddled up'.This was a pity in what was a low scoring game as another competent batsman may have made this very enjoyable day a victorious one as well.
Nomads opened up with Vib Yadav seam and Chris Page slow guile. This combination seemed to baffle the Gipsies openers who amassed 23 off the first ten overs. Yadav who had cut his run up in response to the damp conditions bowled with admirable accuracy and was rewarded with first wicket at 23 and the took three more two to catches by wicket Keeper Mark Oppe leaving Gipsies struggling at 64-4. That Gipsies reached any total at all was due to Hagan who scored 69.Vib Ydav finished with 6-56 while Suraj Vithlani took 3-31.
This was a total which Nomads should have matched with or without Eral Anderson. However the opners both went for ducks and number three at 23. Although Vib Yadav hit a good fifty no one could stay with him and Nomads were all out for a disappointing 100 with the President undefeated but on nought.
