R Richard Horne has a great day
A fter a brisk start by Met Police some tight slow bowling restricted the innings to a modest total partly due to opener Young's obsession with his century.Nomads lost three early wickets after which a great stand between Richard Horne & Carl Hoare of 162 took Nomads to a comfortable victory with 8 overs to spare. This was a beautiful sunny day and the tea was wonderful too!
SDF
Richard Horne who also took three dismissals behind the stumps was obviously inspired by the presence of Nicola whom we all hope will come again to a Nomads match. (Sadly neither Richard nor Nicola appeared for the rest of the season. One can only blame Lamb and Collins for this sad state of affairs.
