Andy Smith secures Victory

Jeremy Lascelles secured a resounding 4 wicket victory over Holmesdale on the same day as the club drew with Eton Ramblers indicative of the growing strength of the club.   Only Epps and East of Holmesdale built significant innings against some useful bowling. The wickets were shared by Henry Lascelles,Smith and Bodie. Holmesdale should have been finished off for around 150 as they were reduced to 147-7. However an unbeaten 8th wicket stand took them up to a respectable 199-7 before declaring.

Jeremy Lascelles and Brown hit 77 runs  off 17 overs before 3 wickets fell cheaply and a 4th soon after. However Tom Lascelles and Les Molloy aided Andy Smith in substantial stands and the match was won with 2.4 overs to go.
